JACKSON, Tenn. - The Union University baseball home weekend series versus the University of West Alabama has been moved from Union to Livingston, Ala. due to the forecast of winter weather.
The forecast for Jackson this weekend is calling for winter weather and a possibility of some accumulation. In order to provide the best possible chance of getting all three games in, the series has been relocated to the campus of West Alabama.
Union is 3-5 on the season to this point. These games this weekend versus West Alabama will be the first Gulf South Conference games for Union as they begin play in the new conference and NCAA DII.
Earlier this week, Union posted a double-header sweep at No. 14 Southern Arkansas.
