Link to GSC Release BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Union University put 33 student-athletes on the Gulf South Conference Spring Academic Honor Roll. Baseball led the way with 14 players, softball had 11, women's golf put five on the list and men's golf had three players honored. Student-athletes with at least a 3.0 GPA earn spots on the academic honor roll.

Paige Taylor.
The women's golfers honored included
Joy Cooper,
KayCee Lindberg,
Ann Elizabeth Lynch,
Lindsay McRee and
Sami Weber.
The men's golfers honored included
Jon Sain,
Hunter Travis and
Trey Whitnell.
For the 2014-15 academic year, Union boasted 109 student athletes on the list including 63 in the fall, 13 in winter sports and the 33 this spring. In the three years that Union has been in the GSC, this marks the second best total for the year (114 in 2013-14; 109 in 2014-15; 102 in 2012-13)
