BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - The Union University men's and women's basketball teams placed eight players on the 2017-18 Gulf South Conference Winter Academic Honor Roll. To be named to the GSC Honor Roll, student-athletes must have a 3.0 GPA cumulative for their academic careers. 

The players including are Caleb Ball, Tiffany Rechis, AnnaLea Little, Elli Pratt, Avree Carpenter, Brilee Bromley, Emily Beard, and Chelsey Shumpert.
